Travel - for 2014, look forward to two amazing travel experiences. !st session campers will visit San Francisco, offering community service volunteering, while enjoying the sites and sounds of the Bay area! 2nd session campers will head to New Orleans for a taste of local culture and entertainment. Leadership Training - TAC provides a unique opportunity fo

r campers to develop leadership skills through the Future Leaders program. This two year course beginning in TAC I, features interactive skill-building workshops coupled with an array of practical leadership projects and opportunities. Internships & Certifications - Teen Campers are provided training and certifications in lifeguarding and ropes. TAC II also offers campers a half-day internship in a chosen specialty area, enabling them to gain competency in instructing younger children in our other camps. Campers who complete both years in TAC are guaranteed a pre-counselor job, the following summer. Community Service - campers have the opportunity to earn community service hours with our local partners. These partners include: Country Ark Farm, Milford Senior Center & Pike County Agency on Aging. Specialty Camp - Learn to coach - The Total Specialty Camp program is designed as an intense experience in sports, arts and science enabling campers to dedicate four hours of their day to receiving high quality instruction from expert professionals. Teen Campers also have the opportunity to learn the finer points in coaching and teaching by working with our TSC stars.

We had an amazing experience volunteering with OBKLA! We had the opportunity to prepare and package meals. Our big kitchen Los Angeles is a community run non-denominational kitchen that prepares meals for distribution to those in need throughout Los Angeles. Volunteering is the TAC way!
