New characters unlocked! Please welcome Eric and Maddie to RRT - Eric is fresh off of a PCT attempt and hopes to finish it next year. Maddie comes to us from our friends at Appalachian Outfitters and considers the Red River Gorge her second home. Come say hi next time you’re in!

It's a reasonable ask; No More Sell-Offs. No More Giveaways. No More Backroom Deals. For the last two years, our community has stood up to wave after wave of attacks on public lands. It needs to stop. This Public Lands Day, we are gathering One Million Signatures and taking them to DC to remind our elected officials that we remember who champions public lands. We may vote differently and recreate differently, but we’re working together to Save Public Lands.

Want to know what can be lost? Look no further than the probable rescission of the Roadless Rule and protections for North Carolina's Pisgah National Forest. A place that many of us recreate and have come to enjoy.

Please Join Us. Sign the Petition. Spread the word. Join our movement of everyday people, nonprofits and brands. , , , , , , , , .

We already lost Bears Ears, Grand Staircase Escalante, protections for the Boundary Waters, and preservation at Big Bend. Now 60 million acres of national forest land is at risk of exploitation from industrial development: logging, road-building, and mining. In the midwest these areas are already fleeting, but still your experience in a beautiful american landscape like Pisgah N.F. could soon look much different

The USDA is proposing that we scrape the Roadless Rule. We knew this was coming, and now we need your help. Follow the link in the comments to make your voice be heard. The message can be simple, Hands off our public lands!

We're missing Cast Iron around the shop, but I get the feeling he's not missing us much...

As Dalton attempts to finish his Triple Crown by hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, we were lucky enough to jump on a call and hear about the first leg of his journey. Check out our latest podcast on Backcountry Banter (Spotify or Apple) and keep up with Dalton as he goes for the crown!

Whether you’re hitting up the hot tub or out in the backcountry, coffee paste is an easy way to make coffee quickly without the grainy taste that usually comes with instant coffee powder.
