We share space on that list with some wonderful local businesses and want to say congrats to them too! As far as we are concerned, just getting to live and work in an town with these sunsets was already enough :)

Chocolate. Cacao literally means “food of the gods”…and for good reason! It can be savory or sweet with equal success. Like our Mocha Martini: featuring Cacao Maple vodka from coopersdaughterspirits, dark chocolate bitters, fresh espresso and crushed cocoa nibs, it’s the perfect blend of bitter and sweet. We are celebrating chocolate in all of its glory the month of February, with chocolate-focused cocktails, entrees, and desserts at our restaurant, The Vintage…so you have the whole month by to get romantic!

One holiday down, another one to go! Diners loved our holiday menu, but the dish of the night was definitely our Christmas Oysters: fresh Long Island Oysters with garlic butter, and chives. If you are an oyster lover, join us New Year’s Eve: we’ll be dressing them with vermouth, a touch of cream, and spinach.

New Year’s Eve is barely a week away, have you made your dinner plans yet? The Vintage at The Millbrook Inn is a great option for those who don’t want those expensive price fixed menus but still want an elegant and festive night out! Our lounge and glass dining room will be set up with charming New Year’s Eve decor and music, but we keep our intimacy and romance for a those who want to just have a delicious meal with those they love. Swipe to see our menu. We are taking reservations on our Open Table page, or call the restaurant at 845-605-1121. We welcome all guests 13 and older. Happy Holidays!

Our first December wedding at the inn this weekend…and even though the bride wanted us to make a traditional wedding cake with her favorite summer color (pink) and her favorite summer fruit (raspberry), the food and vibe was winter all the way: guests mingled around our fire sipping on apple squash “espressos” and crispy risotto with a saffron aioli, sliced filet mignon crostinis with a walnut kale pesto, and lots of other winter delights.
