For the next 24 hours, you have the chance to be part of something BIG supporting the organizations that make our community such a great place to live, work, and play!

Give Local MOV 2026 is powered by the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation with the help of generous local sponsors—and Wood County 4-H Camp is proud to be part of this incredible Day of Giving!

Your donation goes directly to supporting the 4-H Camp our community knows and loves. The 4-H Camp is more than just camp, it’s a place for learning, growth, and connection.

Each year, the 4-H camp is home to:
3 week-long 4-H camps (Horse, Older & Younger)
Wood County 4-H & FFA Summer Showcase
4-H Club meetings, events & trainings
Shooting Sports programs
County 4-H Awards Banquet & 4-H Trunk or Treat
Multi-County Teen Leader Weekend

And it doesn’t stop there! The camp also serves our broader community by hosting:
Jake’s Day
Farm Bureau dinners
Safety Days
Trainings
Middle and High School Cross Country Races
Minted Vintage Market (twice a year!)
Graduation Parties,
Weddings
Baby Showers
Band Camps
Church Camps
and more!

It takes a lot to keep this facility running and improving for future generations. This year, we’re raising funds for important upgrades, including:
A new roof on the Block Barn
Insulation and other facility improvements

Our 4-H Camp is proud to be part of WVU Day of Giving, and we need YOUR help to keep improving a place that means so much to our community 💚

We have exciting projects ahead, including:
🏠 A new roof for the block barn
🧱 Insulation and air system for the Assembly Hall
🚪 Weatherproof doors for the dorms
And many other things on our list!

Join us for our Annual OX ROAST!
Saturday, October 4th
Wood County 4-H Camp

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Dinner - $15 per meal
Includes - Roast Beef, Potatoes, Cole Slaw, Green Beans, Roll, Dessert and Drink.
Sandwich Only - $8
Come support the 4-H Camp by getting a delicious dinner! Proceeds go to the utility bills, upkeep and more!

This year we have completed another project at Council Circle with another coat of paint on the benches and adding totem poles. Thanks to all who have had a part on this important part of the camp.
