If you use an aerator, make sure it’s installed correctly, clearly marked, and compliant with DNR and state safety requirements. Proper setup helps protect people, pets, and property.

🔶Traffic Advisory and Safety Notice for 4th of July Parade – Friday, July 4th🔶

The Minocqua Police Department would like to inform residents and visitors of important traffic changes and safety reminders ahead of the annual 4th of July Parade on Friday, July 4th.

The Kiddie Parade will begin at 3:45 PM, followed by the main parade at 4:00 PM. To prepare for the event, Oneida Street will close to all traffic at 3:00 PM.

During the parade, southbound traffic will be detoured to Chippewa Street, which will temporarily operate as a two-way street until the parade concludes.

❗️IMPORTANT DETOUR NOTICE:❗️
To help traffic flow smoothly during the detour, left turns will not be allowed in the reroute. If you need to turn left, please continue to the end of the detour route, turn around safely, and return from the opposite direction. This no-left-turn policy is in place to reduce congestion and keep traffic moving efficiently. We encourage everyone to plan ahead and allow enough time to arrive safely.

The Minocqua Police Department will have officers stationed along the route to manage traffic and ensure the safety of all paradegoers. We ask all drivers to use extra caution, obey signage, and be alert for pedestrians.
