Isaias tested our community this past week, and we’re grateful to everyone who kept each other safe.
When Walton County issued its mandatory evacuation, we made a simple promise: no guest would be left out of pocket because of a storm they couldn’t control. Every guest affected by the evacuation was offered a full refund or the option to reschedule, and our reservations team personally reviewed each case.
For our homeowners, we stayed in touch every step of the way:
Multiple updates as Isaias began targeting our area
A clear plan of action before decisions were made, with time for their input
Progress reports as our team finished storm prep at every home
Updates on how each home fared, as soon as it was safe to return
Our team prepped every home, got guests out safely, and then evacuated or sheltered in place themselves. As soon as the all-clear came, they were back on the ground checking on every property.
Now we’re resetting homes as quickly as possible so we can welcome guests back to the Emerald Coast.
