The summer solstice has come and gone, and yes, we're a little bummed too.

But if there's one thing we've learned, it's that you don't need the longest day of the year to make the most of it.

Lucky for you, some of Missoula's best hikes are only minutes from The Wren, which means less time driving and more time for absolutely everything else.

📍 Waterworks Hill
Don't let the name fool you. It's called Waterworks for the nearby reservoir and not because it'll leave you in tears.

⛰️ The M
The switchbacks build character, the summit builds camera rolls, and it's popularly iconic for a reason.

🌿 Kim Williams Nature Trail
Think riverside views with a leisurely stroll along a historic railroad track. Rewarding yourself with a local brewery afterward optional.

One trail system. Countless ways to spend an afternoon, whether you're on two feet or two wheels.

If you've spent any time in The Wren lobby, you've probably admired a few pieces of history without even realizing it. Those vintage Forest Service signs aren't just décor; they're trail markers to a much larger story, lent to us to help tell their tale.

This July 17, our friends at the National Museum of Forest Service History invite the community to celebrate the grand opening of their new national museum, where the stories of America's public lands take center stage.

So, consider this your sign to stop by and join us in celebrating this new milestone.🌲
