We hit a major milestone with our solar power system. As of today, we have now produced 50 MWh of electricity at Red Rock Garden, in just about 7 1/2 years! It feels good to know what when you rent Red Rock Garden, most of the electricity needs in the house are met by the sun. It feels even better when we get our very low electric bills!

Whenever you visit Moab, make sure to stop by The Sundry on 61 N. Main Street in Moab, Utah. If you ever visited the Tom Till Gallery on Main Street in the past 30 years, the Sundry boutique and gallery is in that same location, run by our good friend Becky Bryd. Colin has a collection of his Milky Way images, comets, meteors, and other nightscape images of the Southwest, on display full time at The Sundry. Also on sale will be greeting cards and limited edition prints, and of course there's lots of other great artwork, jewelry, hats, and other sundries. Make sure to visit the next time you are in Moab!

Moab in the off season is quiet, but most businesses are open, and the weather is cool and crisp for all of your favorite desert activities like hiking, biking and photography! Make sure you book a photo tour with Rock Light Photo Tours while you are in Moab!

Juniper Sky - captured on a photo tour in early March. I never tire of Utah Juniper trees. Even in black and white the texture of their trunks contrasts with the rock and sky.
