FIFTY YEARS AGO ON THE RIM
Under the headline "Hundreds May Enjoy Safari" The Times-Independent reporter Dick Wilson filed a story for the April 4, 1968 issue using this photo.

The caption for that photo reads: "The Moab Rim may be the scene of future tourist-oriented facilities. Ideas for a sky lift rising from the valley to the Rim have been entertained. Other possibilities include the construction of a restaurant that could be served by the sky lift. Jeep shuttle runs into the rugged Behind the Rocks could also be made available."

Moab Area Transit Pilot Program starts tomorrow 3/16/23. Check It Out!

The Moab Area Transit (MAT) pilot program is a new, fare-free, transit service in Moab. MAT provides residents and visitors with more options for day-to-day transportation in Moab. Transportation will be provided using comfortable MAT-branded 13-passenger vans.
