Every small business has a system.

At East Side, ours is pretty simple:

Dave smiles, talks to everyone, and makes friends.

I lurk somewhere behind the scenes doing laundry, reservations, marketing, troubleshooting, and occasionally consulting John Lennon for major business decisions. 😂

It’s a highly sophisticated operation.

Pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nothing makes our day quite like hearing that a guest felt comfortable, welcomed, and well cared for during their stay.

We’re so grateful for every review, every kind word, and every person who chooses East Side Motel & Cabins when they’re in Mobridge.

Thank you for supporting our little family-owned motel — we appreciate you more than you know. 💚

Asking for a friend...

Fluffy or firm pillows? 👀

It’s the little things that can make an overnight stay so much better, and we want to know what you prefer.

Are you team fluffy and sink-right-in, or team firm and supportive?

Drop your vote below — Dave may be taking notes. 😉

Fall is settling into Mobridge, and that means some of our favorite guests are headed back our way. 🍂

Whether you’re coming for hunting, fishing, visiting family, or just need a comfortable place to land for the night, East Side Motel & Cabins is ready for you.

Nothing fancy. Just clean rooms, friendly faces, and Dave probably somewhere nearby with a Pepsi in his hand.

Come stay awhile.

Ice fishing season is coming, and Mobridge knows how to do it BIG. 🎣❄️

The Ice Fishing Tournament is coming on January 16th, and if you’re headed this way, now is the time to start making plans.

Grab your gear, round up your fishing crew, and get your stay booked before rooms fill up.

We’d love to have you at East Side Motel & Cabins!

Turns out Dave doesn’t just take care of guests… he takes care of plants too. 🌿

And honestly? They’re all thriving.
East Side is full of cozy touches, and his plant collection is one of our favorites.

We have two obsessions around here: creating an amazing guest experience… and keeping Dave fully stocked in Pepsi. 😂🥤

Hospitality runs on happy guests.
Dave runs on Pepsi.

At this point, we’re not sure which one is more essential to operations. 🤣

Meet Dave: motel owner, guest greeter, Pepsi drinker… and survivor of a 12-mile kayak trip on the Colorado River.

By the end, he couldn’t feel his legs.

Which is probably why you’ll usually find Dave safely back at East Side Motel & Cabins welcoming guests instead of agreeing to go on vacation with his family.

He’s learned his lesson. 😂

Good morning from East Side Motel & Cabins!

Is this what you think Dave is doing at sunrise—standing outside, soaking in the view and peacefully greeting the day?

Nope.

He’s drinking a Pepsi and getting everything ready for our guests. 😂

Small-town hospitality starts early around here.
