This month, we're celebrating a very special member of our Double Hearts Ranch family — De Mayos! 🐎❤️

De Mayos is a beautiful example of resilience, trust, and the incredible ability horses have to overcome their past and embrace a new beginning.

From once facing an uncertain future in a kill pen to becoming one of the first to greet you at the gate, De Mayos has come such a long way! ❤️

Today, he absolutely loves welcoming guests to the ranch. He's often the first one waiting at the gate, ready to say hello, receive a little attention, and make a new friend. 🥰

His journey reminds us that our past does not have to define our future. With patience, compassion, trust, and the opportunity to grow, amazing transformations are possible.

At Double Hearts Ranch, we believe that horses like De Mayos have so much to teach us about healing, second chances, and finding connection. Sometimes, the greatest lessons come from those who have traveled the hardest roads.

🎉 Things are finally coming together for the Double Hearts Ranch office—we have electricity! 💡🐴❤️

A big THANK YOU to Maiden Electric of Hannibal for trenching the line and connecting power to the office, and to my husband for running the electrical inside! I’m so grateful for the work that’s helping bring this space to life.

There’s still more to do, but I’m hoping to have the office ready by the end of the month! Each step brings us a little closer, and I can’t wait!

🐴❤️🎁 What a great Sunday at Double Hearts Ranch!

Our Horses & Hearts for Toys event was filled with smiles, hayride fun, marshmallow roasting, and ranch games! We loved spending the day with everyone who joined us.

Best of all, we collected toys for Toys for Tots! Thank you to everyone who donated—your generosity will help make a child’s Christmas extra special. 🎄❤️

Thank you for making it a day full of fun, connection, and giving.

We hope to see you back at the ranch soon!
