Excavators and attachments like breakers and packs do have the ability to work partially in the water. However, this requires extra attention to detail from the operator.

Getting the excavator ready is crucial. The metal components are especially prone to rust when exposed to water for prolonged periods. To offset the damage, be sure to regularly apply lubrication to areas like the joints, links, and stick pins. Oil provides a protective barrier.

We recommend lithium grease, which is great at withstanding both fresh and saltwater conditions even when fully submerged.
