Today we need to be ready to start processing our meat birds. Tomorrow we plan on processing 65 birds. We are blessed to have a couple neighbors who will come and help out. The birds we will process are Freedom Rangers. They are a non GMO bird. They do not grow as fast as the Cornish cross. In addition to getting ready for our day tomorrow we need to feed our animals and water them. Our spring is not producing enough water for our animals and our b&b. We need to move water from one side of the farm to another.

These folks have been coming to the farm since January. It's now the middle of July and we have a license plate and postive identification on the thief. Doesn't the title say it all? We need to move a couple trees next to our house. The hope is that I can fork them out and not have to deal with the stump. We'll see how this goes...

Today I am making a run to Turkey North Carolina. Much like our farm it's in the middle of nowhere convenient to nothing. But it's where our distributor is for Food Lion. They ordered 60 cases and I'm taking the van vs. the truck. Better on gas for sure. The day before I changed the oil and rotated the tires. I used an impact to put the lugs back on. About 2.5 hours into the trip, the right rear wheel came loose. Even broke a stud. I was able to get the wheel back onto the car and tighten all the lugs. I check the rest of the lug nuts too. None were as loose as these.
