If you've ever been to Jacks Monterey and ordered an omelet with Linda's crispy cheese on top, we're sharing her secret on exactly how she makes it! 🧀

• Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, and sprinkle a 1/4 cup of shaved parmesan cheese in a thin layer.

• Remove excess oil from the cheese by dabbing with a paper towel.

• After cheese bubbles, wait for it to look dry and turn golden. (You don't want it to turn brown as it may get bitter.)

• Place the cheese crisp immediately on your omelet and enjoy!

Monterey is blooming with new life, and spring is such a beautiful time to visit. Here are a few spots to get the best spring photos in Monterey. 🌸🌿

1. Around Old Fisherman’s Wharf & the Monterey Rec Trail
There are so many good spots on the trail and around the wharf with picture perfect scenes. Flowers are blooming in different spots along the trail making it a great place to get photos.

2. Memory Garden
Memory Garden is a historic garden enclosed by adobe walls. It features a fountain with koi fish, an arbor, and a flower garden. The best part is it’s only about a minute walk from out back doors!

3. Magic Carpet in Pacific Grove
Every spring, brilliant purple flowers bloom across Pacific Grove’s coastline. Locals call it the Magic Carpet or Purple Carpet, and it’s truly a beautiful spot for photos. Blooms peak in April and May so start planning your trip now!
