There is a cute little craft festival in Mill Gap today. The highlight for me was the jam/jelly/hot sauce stand rum by Num Num Farms. Head on over to the Ruritan Park in Mill Gap. Here’s a little look at some of the stands there today. The weather is great. Get some sun on your face and grab a chili dog!

You don’t have to be a motorcycle rider to love one of our two motorcycle-themed cabins. Sign up for our adventure motorcycle “camp and ride” event on Oct. 1-4. There are some spaces left. Head over to our ADV moto partner’s FB page at Two Jackasses Motorcycle Adventures for pricing and registration. Hey, who doesn’t love a 1985 Sega motorcycle arcade game. You can “crash” all you want in our ADV cabin. And you never run out of quarters when you stay with us!

Before the night music kicked off on Saturday, Monterey, VA locals and travelling misfits converged for snacks and convo. BruggyFest 2027 already has three cabin bookings for next September. Seven more available. We will do some stage upgrades, start the hunt for more food trucks and start booking bands soon. Thanks to everyone who came out for the inaugural BruggyFest. Next event… A Oct. 1-4 “Camp and Ride” adventure motorcycle get together. We have some cabin spots left for that but they are filling up, so don’t wait till the last minute. Bruggy… the man, the myth, the legend of BruggyFest. He loves festivals so much that on THE day of his own festival we stopped at another festival on the way home from picking up picnic tables. BruggyFest is a wrap. Two days of fabulous bands, food, c***r, campfires, hangover yoga and maple donuts. We had it all. No major injuries and a full parking lot of folks for our first ever BruggyFest. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Even the weather cooperated. Pics. Thank you 501 Coyotes for opening up our two-day music event, BruggyFest. Give these guys a follow. More music tonight with two more bands coming to Virginia Backcountry Cabins. We open at 3 pm today and run till 8 pm. Then the fire pit jam session begins afterward. Free music. No tickets needed. Just come and enjoy the bands. We have some free beverages as well as food for our purchase. Come on over to 840 Lower Back Creek Road. We will be waiting for you at Virginia Backcountry Cabins.
