While staying at our Log Cabin, we want you to feel at home. Nestled on 14 + peaceful acres, the cabin's logs are warm and cozy, while the cathedral ceiling in the main room, gives it a spacious feel. s two sofas and a recliner. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cabin is located just a 10 mile drive from the entrance to Jay Peak Resort, with great skiing (with an average annual snowfall of 300 inch per year, possibly the the best skiing on the east coast), ice skating rink, indoor waterpark and golfing in the summer. Less than a 1 mile from the VAST Snowmobile Trail. Or you can snowshoe on the property ( 6 sets of snowshoes are provided at the cabin ) and pick up the Catamount cross country ski trail and Hazen's Notch snowshoe / cross country ski trails right at the edge of the property. The Cabin is the perfect place for couples, families, or groups of friends to relax and leave the stress of the real world behind. The main/master bedroom has a King bed, a walk in closet, and a 6 foot Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed plus there are 2 Queen sized Sleeper Sofas in the living room, comfortable for sleeping 6 people. The second bathroom has a tub / shower combination, plus there is a 80 gallon hot-water tank, so after a hard day of playing in the outdoors, everyone can take a hot shower without running out of hot water. The kitchen has a dining nook that seats 6 plus additional counter top seating for 4. If you want to visit Canada, the Canadian Border is only 18 miles away. If you love the outdoors, you will love our cabin. Please note, Mountain Roads are steep and curvy. In winter month four-wheel drive or winter tires are highly recommended.
