I wanted to czech in and give everyone following us an update.

Many of you know that the ‘planned’ Czech Inn will ultimately be located on the second floor of our little gem on First Street here in Montgomery, MN.

The Rustic Farmer on Main occupies the lower level of this building. We recently launched into hosting Events and Parties of all types and the response has been overwhelming! We love what we do😁

Our 2 year restoration of this two story building has always included the possible pursuit of a Historic National Registry Distinction.

After a recent site visit with the State Historic Preservation Office, we will start the process of applying for a nomination. The next few months will be spent doing the research on the significance of the building built in 1880.

During this application process, we need to push the pause button on construction upstairs.

Wish us luck with this part of our journey. It will make our heart happy if we are successful!
