Update: The water has almost completely receded. Some puddles remain in the lower areas. We know everyone has been dealing with issues at home and have missed the campground. However, we ask that you all not come until Friday so the ground has an opportunity to dry out.

Update: Due to the heavy rain last night, the water has come back up slightly. But it seems to be holding at a steady level for the most part right now. Hopefully we can catch a break and start moving in a positive direction soon. We will continue to update as the situation changes.

Update: The water is starting to slowly recede. No major improvements yet, but hopefully soon. We will keep you all info...

Update: The water is starting to slowly recede. No major improvements yet, but hopefully soon. We will keep you all informed as things progress. Access to campers and safety are the top priorities.

Update: The river is still rising. Water is creeping up into the pavilion area. All "weekender" lots are under water. It doesn't appear that water has reached any of the campers, however, there is no access to campers around Tony Bradshaw. We would prefer everyone stay home at this point because we don't know how high the water will get. Tall Oaks may have to temporarily close. We will keep you all updated as conditions change.

Update: The river has come over the bank down by the "weekender" lots. Water is not posing a danger to our campers as of yet. Will continue to update as needed.

Update Tall Oaks Family: We hope all of our campground family is safe. The river has come up a little, but not over the bank. There is some standing water in the low spots around the campground, but nothing crazy. Some smaller limbs/branches have fallen, but no visible damage to any campers or property. And no powered was lost at any time during the storms. If anything changes, we will update as needed.
