Black Mountain/ Montreat have become destinations in and of themselves! Asheville is ah-mazing, and only a 15 minute drive away, but Black Mountain offers everything you need for a perfect getaway! See below for recent write-up about our favorite little mountain town!

One week available at Tree Top this summer! Wouldn’t you like to cool off in the mountains of Asheville June 24-July 1? Montreat offers an amazing day camp for kids called “Clubs”- best day camp ever and walkable from the house!

Weekend of August 27th is open at Tree Top! Doesn’t a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway sound nice? Craggy Gardens along the parkway is always 10-15 degrees cooler than Montreat and sometimes you can spot a black bear and cub like we did!

Summer at Tree Top is in full swing! House decorated with 4th of July fanfare! The calendar is full but looking ahead, we have 3 long weekends left open between now and December. Maybe some hiking and craft brewery touring? Several fabulous local breweries right in Black Mountain and hiking/ mountain biking right out the door. Dates open ends of: August, October and November. Summer fun has begun at Tree Top! Last week we hosted First Presbyterian Savannah Georgia. 13 youth worked with Asheville Youth Mission on service projects in the surrounding area. We were also joined by several other First Pres families whose young children participated in Montreat Clubs- the most amazing day camp ever! Service, kindness, friendships…. That’s what it’s all about!

He is risen indeed! It has been a glorious Easter morning at Tree Top! I was up early enough to sip coffee and watch the sun rise over the mountain. Bonus: the Easter bunny found his way here and hid the baskets and eggs in some very tricky spots! A new Easter challenge for the Bennett girls! 🙏🐥🐇

Girls’ weekend at Tree Top- Perfect house, perfect location in the mountains. 20 minutes from spas, shopping and restaurants in Asheville, 5 minutes from local venues. Hiking right out the door! We have a weekend open in May and NOW is the time to book for fall!
