The Rosemont Inn Bed and Breakfast was established in 2003. It has twelve charming guest rooms, each with a private bath. It has sitting rooms, a great room, a library, patios, porches and charming gardens. While it was established to offer our guests quiet, private and comfortable accommodations, it also enjoys offering a "home away from home" atmosphere in which guests are encouraged to use a
ll of the Inn's amenities. In addition to overnight accommodations, the Inn is a facility for showers, reunions, retreats and bereavement luncheons for up to seventy people. The Inn proudly sits on historic Lake Avenue in the heart of Montrose, which is the County Seat of Susquehanna County. It is within walking distance of restaurants, our movie theatre, shopping, the Historic Society and the Fire Hall Museum. It is one block from the Village Green which hosts many Montrose festivals including the Fourth of July, the Blueberry Festival in August, the Apple Festival in September, and it is in walking distance to the Chocolate and Wine Festival held each May. If hiking and bird watching are among your favorite things, we are centered between Salt Springs State Park and Woodbourne Forest Preserve ( a nature conservancy property). The Inn is managed by Peter and Penny Eldred. With a love of the arts, the Inn is decorated with many original works by regional artists. Our mission is to make your stay with us a pleasant one.
