A very special THANK YOU
This was never about just putting on a race.
It was about showing up when it’s hard. It was about pushing beyond what is comfortable. It was about using something we love to become a small part of a mission much bigger than ourselves.
For 23 miles, our athletes paddled with purpose in honor of the heroes whose lives ended too soon and the families who were left behind.
And standing beside us through it all was Carolina Brotherhood- Honoring The Fallen & Their Families
Their mission is something that is difficult to put into words until you see it firsthand. They show up. They carry the names. They remember the sacrifice. And most importantly, they take care of the families.
This was not 23 miles for a race.
It was 23 miles for a purpose. 23 miles for the families. 23 miles to remember. 23 miles to say: WE HAVE YOUR BACKS.
