“My name is Kyle Kaczmarek, I am 20 years old from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have been a serious fisherman at home for about 4 years. When it was confirmed that I would be working out here, fishing was one of the top activities I was looking forward to doing. At first, I was not having very much luck, but I met a friend at work that took me to the dam at Jackson Lake. When I went with her that night I caught my first fish here and it was a Sucker!

So far I have caught many cutthroat trout, suckers, as well as one brown trout. I have enjoyed my time fishing in
Wyoming so much. I look forward to coming back to Jackson in the future for more fishing!” -

Teton Interagency fire managers elevated the fire danger rating to high for the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Grand Teton National Park, National Elk Refuge, and remaining portions of the Teton Interagency Dispatch area.

A high fire danger rating means fires can start easily and spread quickly. Unattended campfires and brush fires are likely to escape and can become serious and difficult to control. In areas where campfires are allowed, fires should never be unattended and must be completely extinguished. The charred remains of a campfire must be repeatedly doused with water and stirred into the campfire ring for it to be completely extinguished. All embers and logs should be broken up. Happy Birthday to Grand Teton National Park, turning 92 years young today! The park was first established in 1929. At the time, Jackson Hole was considered a scenic preserve and John D. Rockefeller bought 35,000 acres of land in the area to later donate to the federal government to be incorporate into the park. Today, Grand Teton National Park encompasses over 300,000 acres filled with diverse wildlife and stunning mountain scenery.
