The Overlook at Waterside is a vacation rental tiny home ( #145, see map) located within the Waterside at Blue Ridge Community. We are located in a secluded part of the community where we overlook the community pavilion, the pond, and a large portion of the neighborhood. We also have a nice size deck to enjoy your morning coffee, have a meal, or just enjoy the fresh mountain air. We have a fire pit

and a sitting area where you can gather with friends and family, make s'mores, and create some beautiful memories! Our tiny home offers:
Living area with a sleeper sofa, a space-saving dining table, smart TV. Kitchen (fully equipped with everything you need to make a tasty meal at home). Bedroom with a queen size bed, TV, and plenty of storage
for your clothes and luggage. Stacked washer & dryer. There is a park ranger on-site and small store to get wood, ice cream, snacks, etc. This is one of the few sites that doesn't have other properties in the back and in front of it. The community has everything you need for a relaxing getaway:

Waterside at Blue Ridge is a gated community, only 10 min drive to Downtown Blue Ridge where you can find many specialty local shops filled with unique handmade items, highly-rated restaurants and coffee shops. The community is only 2 miles away from Lake Blue Ridge (Morganton Recreational Area) where you can enjoy a day at the beach, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, swimming in the lake, hiking, riding on the bike trails. It is surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. There are plenty of attractions in the area for every skill and age. Contact us for more info about the home and the area.

Same tiny home. Completely different vibe. ✨
We recently updated the bedroom with new decor, fresh linens, and a few thoughtful touches to make the space feel even more inviting and to enhance the mountain feel 🥰

One of my favorite things about the North Georgia mountains is how quickly the scenery changes after the rain.
The fog hangs low over Lake Blue Ridge, then slowly lifts off the ridges like the mountains are waking up.
These are the moments that make people fall in love with this area. Quiet roads, cool air, mountain views, and nowhere you have to rush to.

One little change completely changed the feel of this space.
We loved the old shower curtain when we first decorated the tiny home… but as we’re leaning into a cozier mountain vibe, it was time for an update 🐻🌲
Warmer tones. Softer feel. More cabin-in-the-woods energy.
Now we need honest opinions:
Did we make the right choice? Old curtain or new curtain? 👀

This tiny home makeover is slowly coming together and I’m kind of obsessed with the cozy direction it’s taking.

Skip the grocery store… do this instead! 👀
Most people think a mountain stay is just about the views. Some of the best moments happen off the property. One of the simplest but most underrated things you can do here is visit a local farm and grab fresh eggs. 🍳🥚
We picked up both chicken and duck eggs and brought them back to the tiny home. Cooked them right in the kitchen… and you can taste the difference.
If you’re staying with us, this is an easy add to your weekend and I think you should do it 💯
