Last week we had the most wonderful time at our board fundraiser, "Bops with the Bishop" at Draft Collaborative in Indianapolis. It was an evening of conversation with Bishop Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows about her long love of music of all kinds.

With our silent auction, ticket sales, donors and sponsors we raised $6000. We are grateful for each person who was able to attend and for those who supported from a distance.

We want to especially thank Katz, Sapper & Miller for sponsoring this event, Draft Collaborative for letting us use their space, Zach Pruett for interviewing Bishop Jennifer, the Snug of Irvington for donating their signature punch, Megan Hillier-Geisler for putting so much work and effort to put this event together, and Bishop Jennifer for sharing her stories and her playlists with us!

Here is a collection of pictures from the event - it was truly magical!

With the most perfect fall weather as the backdrop, 14 folks gathered this past weekend to spend dedicated time deeply observing and getting curious about the beautiful nature that makes up so much of Waycross!

We spent time sketching leaves, painting trees, counting the number of walnuts that fell into the pond, and writing poems about how we each relate to and experience nature.

It was a wonderful weekend of slowing down, paying attention, and seeing the familiar landscape around us in new ways. 🍂
