Nobody plans the boys’ trip, so we built the place that does it for you. Rancho Contento is just two hours west of Hollywood, make sure to leave the city lights at home.

Enjoy ten acres at the end of a road in Morongo Valley, so it feels much bigger. Bring your horses, there are 3 corrals and a 110’ arena. Short drive to the trailhead at Black Rock Canyon and out to Pioneertown.

Back at the ranch, book a sound bath or yoga session with Atlanta Marie | Sound Baths + Somatic Yoga or Kristina ✨ WakeUpDreamer • Sound Bath • Breathwork • California. Dip in the plunge pool or spa. Fire up the Current Backyard grill or make fresh pizza in the Current pizza oven. There’s a saloon for game night and a projector for movie night.

Gift it to your Cowboy. (Or maybe you’ll get an invite too!)

Go ahead. Check availability.

RANCHO CONTENTO | Vacation Rental near Joshua Tree was never built to follow trends.

Cowboy Ed — artist, builder, original dreamer of the property, created a ranch with a soul you can still feel today.

In 2021, Rancho Contento saw its next chapter: not just a beautiful space, but a desert escape familes, and small groups celebrating just about anything could slip away to for a few days, or for a little while longer.

3️⃣ renovations.

4️⃣ years as a full-time Airbnb.
