Sometimes in the evening when there is nobody in hidden house I get to experience the peace of sitting on the back porch sometimes you hear an owl or a coyote sometimes it’s just Winston Creek below the house. Whatever it is it’s always comforting and calming to my soul.

Hidden House, a private residence located on shared property, welcomes long-term guests through Airbnb and private bookings. We’re thrilled to accommodate traveling workers and allow up to two small pets or one large pet.

For Airbnb bookings, we offer a 10% discount for stays of one week and a 20% discount for stays of one month or more.

Privately, the space rents for $2,000 per month. A $100 pet fee and a $500 refundable deposit are required. We’ll fill the propane tank every three months, with the propane company replenishing it to 80%. You’ll be responsible for refilling it in between.

All utilities, including power, internet, water, sewer, and garbage, are included in the rent.

Located just outside Mossyrock, WA, Hidden House is situated on a 5-acre parcel shared with another single-room Airbnb.

While the yard is shared, the ample 5 acres provide plenty of space for outdoor activities and privacy.

The two-story house features a fully stocked kitchen, bedroom, and adjoining bathroom upstairs, while the downstairs boasts a spacious living room area.

The back deck, equipped with a propane grill, offers a scenic view of the valley below. During winter, you can catch a glimpse of Winston Creek on the property’s back.

Conveniently located, Hidden House is within a 12-minute drive of Arbor Health Clinic in Mossyrock and a 25-minute drive from Arbor Health Hospital in Morton.

Just an hour away, you’ll find Mount Rainier, and an hour and 15 minutes away, Mount St. Helens.

The area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hunting and fishing. A day trip to Seattle, Portland, or the coast is also within reach. White Pass Ski Area is just an hour and 15 minutes away.

Relax and unwind with our two cats or enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors, where you might spot deer, bobcats, cougars, owls, or even great blue herons.

Winston Creek is a great spot for fishing.

A short drive will take you to Mayfield Lake, and Riffe Lake is only 15 minutes away.

The Trail of the Deer. Just 20 minutes away from Hidden House. Ay walk and beautiful scenery. It was a quiet morning.
There are great places to hike and beautiful scenery scenery year around in the PNW.
Come and stay! And get out in nature!

Airbnb is introducing changes to its fee structure, with guests no longer paying the Guest Service Fee. This fee was previously a significant charge. At Hidden House, we will adjust our rates in the spring to partially offset this fee that has been transferred to the host while maintaining competitive pricing. Guests will not experience a price increase beyond 2025 levels. We have already adjusted our rates for the Suite, as illustrated below, resulting in lower costs for guests. At Hidden House and the Suite, we prioritize providing a clean and comfortable environment, utilizing high-quality 100% cotton sheets and fresh blankets. Our goal is for guests to feel at home and experience the same level of comfort we expect when vacationing. We also welcome longer-term stays at a monthly rate; please do not hesitate to contact us. Friday morning hike to Cathedral Falls. The falls were a steady drip, but the views were spectacular! Lewis County offers so many things year-round. It’s never a bad time for a little getaway!

It’s fall colors season! While the east coast is famous for there fall colors, The west coast is just as beautiful. And we have MT. Rainier!
Fall colors are just beginning to show, boating season is over and the kids are back in school! It’s a perfect time for kayaking on the lakes or Swafford pond, back road drives, and fall hikes!
So many things to do here in east Lewis county.
