With its spacious front porch, three story turret and eye-browed gables, the Rose Heart Inn is a prime example of late 19th century Queen Anne Victorian architecture. rfect place to unwind with a good book or your sweetheart. At the Rose Heart Inn we strive to provide our guests with a comfortable and accommodating atmosphere. In 2004 the Inn was extensively remodeled to add private owner’s quarters, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and five guest rooms each with a private bath. Every measure was taken to keep the architectural, period features of the home while adding modern luxuries for the discerning traveler. “The Inn is a mix of romantic charm and high tech wizardry…” as quoted in the Marion Star on March 14, 2005. The TV/Game Room on the third floor offers a casual atmosphere to watch satellite TV or DVDs. Or if you want to get back to days gone by, you can play one of the many board games. If you just can’t relax and need that extra jolt of adrenaline, you can workout in our private exercise area. Take a leisurely stroll downtown to Main Street and visit the local coffee shop, bakery, restaurants, ice cream parlor, gift shops and antique stores. You can catch a first run movie at the vintage movie theater at half the cost of going to the city. The public library, genealogy annex and courthouse are all within a block of the Inn. If you feel really adventurous, take an afternoon trip to some of the area’s shopping, dining, parks and historic sites. We are convenient to Mid-Ohio Racetrack, Mt. Gilead State Park, Pine Lakes Golf course, and the Fair Grounds. Marion, Mansfield, and Columbus are all within a 30-40 minute drive.
