“Sitting outside with friends at Crooked Tree at a picnic table in the sun on a Thursday. Very good elk burgers and veggie sandwiches with Caesar salads. Superb local brews and large menu of mocktails and NA offerings. Server Heather checking on us regularly. A favorite spot in the Gorge under Mt. Hood.”

Our on-site trails have a new name: meet the Cooper Loop! 🌲

Wander beneath towering old-growth trees, across a moss-covered forest floor, and into a quieter side of the mountain. It’s a peaceful place to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the timeless beauty of Mt. Hood’s wilderness.

You’ll find the trailhead behind the tavern—follow the road down a short way, then take the trail to the left. Take a moment to visit the stream and enjoy our beautiful mountain home!  🐾🥾

Fall is definitely in the air! We got a little bit of rain and the hiking trails near our resort have opened back up after a closure due to the Grasshopper Fire. Special thanks to all of the emergency crew that protected our beautiful natural habitats.

The Indy Pass just got better! They recently announced that they're adding 30+ new resorts to their pass this fall, bringing their total to over 300 for the first time in Indy Pass history.

We're proud to be in that number of independent resorts as we enter into our third season partnering with Indy Pass.
