Fall is definitely in the air! We got a little bit of rain and the hiking trails near our resort have opened back up after a closure due to the Grasshopper Fire. Special thanks to all of the emergency crew that protected our beautiful natural habitats.

The Indy Pass just got better! They recently announced that they're adding 30+ new resorts to their pass this fall, bringing their total to over 300 for the first time in Indy Pass history.

We're proud to be in that number of independent resorts as we enter into our third season partnering with Indy Pass.

Currently, these passes are available for purchase only to waitlist members, but if capacity remains, Indy Pass will open up sales to the public on Sept. 8. Last time this happened, they sold out in just 37 minutes, so if sales open up, we recommend jumping on them quick!

Hi, Mila here. 🐾 I’ve taken over the Cooper Spur page for National Dog Day to give a shoutout to some of our very favorite guests—the ones who arrive on four paws.

And as your resident expert, I have a few recommendations for celebrating the goodest guests properly:

After burning more than 90,000 acres of the Mt. Hood National Forest, the Grass Hopper fire is now nearing 50% containment — encouraging progress made possible by the firefighters, emergency crews, and support teams who have been working tirelessly across the mountain.

We know many of you have been following the fire and wondering how things are looking here at Cooper Spur.

At this time, the resort remains safe and open, and we continue to closely monitor conditions and follow updates from fire and emergency officials.

There is still a lot of work ahead, and the scale of what has burned is difficult to comprehend. These forests are a huge part of what makes this place home, and we’re deeply grateful for everyone working to protect them and the communities around them. 🌲
