A Review from one of our recent guests…

“This is THE place to stay in the Mt Ida area. It has a secluded feel without feeling alone. The living room and sunroom are huge and comfortable. 3 TV's, two very clean bedrooms, and full really nice bathrooms. The kitchen had all you need and there is a table in the kitchen and in the sunroom. The walk to the creek is short and relaxing. It is a perfect place to sit and relax. The house is a short distance to several crystal mines, an interesting museum, and lake activities. We had a fire in the fire pit and used the charcoal grill. This is a fantastic place with great hosts. Highly recommend!”

From one of our recent guests: “We had such a good time and this house was wonderful to come back to after digging for crystals and diamonds all day! Chester took very good care in creating a welcoming space for us. There is plenty of room inside and out to comfortably spend time together or to have time alone if you'd like. There are on two actual bedrooms, but there are also 2 twins in the living room, two couches, and a murphy bed where people can sleep. The house is more spacious than the pictures show and the view of the sunrise from the enclosed porch is glorious. The house is also close to town (5 or so miles), an hour from the crater of diamonds, and 45 minutes from the Coleman mines.”

“Do not hesitate to book this home! This home is wonderful with so many amenities. It's cozy and welcoming and the sun room is a huge plus. You could just spend the day sitting in there admiring the wooded back yard and all the critters roaming about. Be sure to walk down the path to the beautiful creek and explore because it is worth it. The water wasn't deep and it was cold but it was sure fun for me just to adventure out in it. Back to the house tho, it is so roomy for many guests to enjoy or just a few like us. Everything is comfy and I promise you will not want to leave. So book it and enjoy and I will envy you from afar! Thanks Chester for an amazing stay!!!!!”

This is a review posted by one of our recent renters…! “Such a beautiful place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice sun room to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning with a view. Big backyard with fire pit and little trail to the creek where the kids can play and explore. Not a far drive to the lake, boat ramp, trails, etc. Everything there you need to enjoy your stay and stores 10 minutes up the road. Thanks for sharing this gem with us! We are looking forward to the next trip!”
