Join us for a Great Cause: The Northeast Coat Drive
“ Where Every Coat Makes a Difference”
In a normal year, 90% of homeless adults need a new, warm coat every winter. But this year, it's not just homeless people who need our help getting a new coat; thousands of people in New York & New Jersey have been displaced and left out in the cold or in shelters as a result of the recent storms, creating an unprecedented demand for warm coats.
After Hurricane Sandy, it is important for all of us to give back to our communities. Thousands of people in our neighboring states have lost everything and many are in need of warm clothes and coats. They need our help more than ever this winter, especially help in keeping warm.
“The Northeast Coat Drive – Where Every Coat Makes a Difference”
We are aiming to collect 100 coats immediately and donate it to New York Cares. Because of the recent super storms in the Northeast, the Northeast region is in need of 200,000 new and lightly used coats. Here is where you can help.
Here is how it works:
If you would like to participate, we ask that you donate your lightly used coats to our cause and help keep someone warm this winter.
You could certainly make a difference. We would like to take the donated coats to a central drop off location in New York/New Jersey before December 25th.
Please come by the Comfort Inn & Suites at 600 Crawford Place, Mt Laurel NJ with your coat donations by December 5, 2012.
Thank You
