Create & Take Retreat A quaint, cozy rental for scrapbookers, quilters, and small teams of women. Hello! My name is Emily and I'm your host. It is my hope that you enjoy our home.

I’ve always been creative & crafty, and I’ve come a long way. As a pre-schooler, I was frequently grounded from the scissors because I cut small paper scraps (and yes - it was torture!) and because I'd use crayons to draw stick figures on the walls (my 4-year-old brain couldn’t comprehend what was wrong with drawing on that large blank canvas). Now, I own an entire house where using scissors & cut

ting little pieces of paper are encouraged… and I can do whatever I want to the walls! This is an opportunity that I never thought possible. It’s only by the grace of God (and a very talented family) that this dream became a reality. With the support of my amazing husband and family, we’re able to offer women’s groups an opportunity to gather, craft, and hopefully leave rejuvinated. We want you to feel inspired to create something beautiful while you are here and leave with a renewed spirit.

Happy NATIONAL SCRAPPING DAY!! Need a little inspiration? Sue will spend a day putting together pre-made pages with all of her scraps. Without photos on the page the layouts go together so quickly. This technique forces you to be creative, and it save sooo much money. Then she can let the kiddos help her add the photos later.
