Fall break weekend, and the trails are why most of this loop is here. The valley rides out of Powerplant Park keep going into November most years, and the color down low holds into the middle of October. Check the Manti-La Sal National Forest site for trail status and look at the forecast before you head up; it is a different season at 10,000 feet.
