American Christmas Passionately Decking the Halls Since 1968

10/16/2026

Ever wonder what it takes to transform an entire city for Christmas? 🎄✨

Multiple crews. Iconic locations. Installations happening simultaneously across New York City, often while the city sleeps.

Meet He takes us behind the scenes of the coordination, long hours, and teamwork involved in bringing so many holiday displays together.

From early mornings to overnight installations, every crew has a role to play. And with so much happening across the city, it's often the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

The final adjustments. The finishing touches. The care that goes into every display before New Yorkers and visitors experience it.

What's your favorite part of watching New York City transform for Christmas? ✨

An Island-Inspired Holiday. 🌿✨

Layers of lush tropical foliage, rich textures, and organic forms come together to create a holiday aesthetic inspired by the effortless elegance of island living.

Behind the scenes, our production team brings this vision to life, carefully shaping and layering each element to create a look that feels natural, abundant, and distinctly on brand.

Every detail is considered. Every design tells a story.

At American Christmas, preparation is everything. We’re kicking off the season with hands-on training for our installation supervisors, sharpening the skills, leadership, and attention to detail that go into every holiday installation.

Every Branch. Every Light. Every Detail. ✨

Exceptional holiday lighting is an exercise in atmosphere, composition, and detail. It shapes how a property is experienced—drawing people in, creating a sense of welcome, and turning an everyday shopping trip into something memorable.

Behind every beautifully illuminated space is thoughtful design, careful planning, and a skilled crew with decades of experience bringing each property’s character to life.

Nancy plays a big role in our season. When she isn’t working with clients on their holiday programs, she’s out in the field supervising installations and helping bring Christmas to life across New York.

As one of the veterans of our installation season, she knows firsthand how much these experiences can mean. The holidays aren’t easy for everyone, but seeing the city light up and watching people come together can bring joy when it’s needed most. ❤️

For Nancy, knowing she helped create those moments is what makes the season so meaningful.
