Blythe Cottage Inn a bed & bath

Call Directions Website

Blythe Cottage Inn a bed & bath A great home away from home in Mount Vernon, Iowa! We also have our "cottage". The cottage is completely private.

We are located two blocks from the western edge of the Cornell College campus - about a 5-minute walk to the middle of campus...

In the lower level of our home we have two sleeping rooms with both a full and a single bed and private baths. There is a large common area with sitting and dining areas, and a full kitchen for the sole use of our guests. It is a carriage house above a detached garage that houses our wood-burning boiler and fire wood. It has two full-sized beds and a pull-out sofa bed. There is a desk and a dining table as well as another seating area. The kitchenette comes complete with a vintage kitchen cupboard, sink, small refrigerator and microwave.
