Saddle up, anglers—it’s time for The Great Carp Round-Up at Lake Hemet! 🎣🐟

Every Sunday from May 3rd through July 19th, join us from 7AM–4PM to help remove unwanted carp from the lake while enjoying a full day of fishing fun. Bring your rods—or your bows! Bow fishing is welcome with inspected equipment just on Sundays.

🔥 Weekly raffle drawings mean plenty of chances to reel in great prizes!

💲 Day Use: $25 per vehicle

🇺🇸🦅 Meet Jubilee! 🦅🇺🇸

Lake Hemet’s newest little star officially got her band on April 28th!
At approximately five weeks old, this precious bald eagle chick is growing strong and soaring toward a bright future.
Her official band ID is CW-1 but we are calling her Jubilee in honor of America’s 250th birthday celebration this year.
She represents freedom, resilience, and the wild beauty we’re so proud to help steward here at Lake Hemet. ❤️🤍💙
Here’s to Jubilee’s journey as she spreads her wings and becomes part of our nation’s incredible conservation story!
Our thanks to the U.S. Forest Service - San Bernardino National Forest, Friends of the Desert Mountains, and Bloom Biological, Inc. for their coordinated efforts to care for and band the eaglets hatched here each year. These agencies are each dedicated to the stewardship and conservation of nature and we are indebted to them for all that they do.

SNEAK EAGLE ATTACK 🦅

While our marina supervisor, Roberto Toral, was documenting a trout stock by CDFW, he and other onlookers were surprised to have one of our eagles swoop in and grab a fresh fish!
We never stop being dazzled by their presence but sometimes they can still surprise us!
