The Dos Duderstadt Fire south of Harper burned about 7 acres at the NE corner of UBarU. No structures were threatened. Crews bulldozed a fire break on UBarU. As of 8/28 at 7:25pm, the fire was marked as 100% contained. The A&M forestry team said the fire seemed to have been started by lightning. We have some fence to repair and we may need to do some cleanup of trees where they bulldozed them for the fire break. We are extremely thankful for the fire fighters, and so thankful that nobody was hurt.
