Dolly Parton knows a secret we live every day here in the Ozarks. 🎶
Before the rhinestones and the sold-out arenas, Dolly was a little girl in the Great Smoky Mountains soaking up old-time and bluegrass music — the fiddle, the banjo, the high lonesome harmony. She loved that sound so much that at the height of her fame she came back to it, recording her beloved bluegrass records (her album The Grass Is Blue even took home a Grammy). For Dolly, bluegrass isn’t a career move — it’s home.
That same feeling is alive and well in Mountain View, Arkansas — the Folk Music Capital of the World. 🪕 Here, you don’t need a ticket. Musicians still gather on the courthouse square for impromptu pickin’ sessions, and the tradition gets passed down to the next generation just like it always has.
And there’s no better seat in the house than Ozark RV Park & Cabins. We sit right next door to the Ozark Folk Center State Park — walking distance to the square, the shows, and the music. Pull up a chair at our community center jam, grab a cup of coffee, and stay a while.
Dolly would feel right at home here. We think you will too. ❤️
Stay a day, a week, or a lifetime. 🎵
