There’s just something special about hearing children say they never want to leave… or asking their parents if the house is for sale before checkout. 🥹❤️

One of the highest compliments we receive at ✨Silky’s Haven Farmhouse✨ isn’t the 5-star reviews — it’s when families make memories here so meaningful that the kids and grandkids want to buy the house and stay forever.

This sweet note from one of our recent guests absolutely melted my heart. From late-night cuddles on the couch, to peaceful mornings on the porch, to making Memorial Day traditions together… these are the moments that make hosting so rewarding.

We didn’t just want to create a rental… we wanted to create a place that feels warm, welcoming, nostalgic, and full of comfort — like stepping into a slower pace of life where families can truly reconnect. 🌿🏡✨

Reading stories like this reminds us why we pour so much love into every little detail at Silky’s Haven.

And apparently… we may need to start adding “warning: your kids may try to move in permanently” to the listing. 😂💕

Guest book wins again 💛

The Browns came all the way from Florida/Georgia and made themselves right at home at Silky’s Haven Farmhouse in Moyock, NC… and get this—at 52 years young, they were out there doing the scavenger hunt too 🐄🐓🦋

Proof it’s not just for the kids 😉

Nothing better than family time, farmhouse charm, and guests who say they’d come back!

Come stay and see what you can find 👀 See below for the booking website.
