🎼Sips Snacks and Strings: OMB🎼

🍺Join us this Friday at 7:00 for free live music in the pub. This week we will be featuring OMB.

Michael Ofiesh — better known as “O.M.B.” — is a Northern California musician known for turning any room into a singalong. Armed with an acoustic guitar, harmonica, and an endless catalog of songs, he takes live requests on the spot — from James Taylor and John Denver to Morgan Wallen and Duran Duran — with no setlist, tablet, or cheat sheet in sight. Raised in San Francisco and performing across Northern California, O.M.B. brings an energetic, crowd-driven style focused on keeping people singing, dancing, and fully engaged all night long.

🕯️🧙‍♀️ THE NIGHT THE WITCHES WERE INVITED IN 🧙‍♀️🕯️
Friday, October 23 | Pelican Inn
Since opening, the Pelican Inn has had its ways of keeping witches out, from glass worked into the fireplace mortar to a horse’s head buried beneath the hearth. But on this night, we’re turning tradition on its head and inviting the witches in!

Join us for a magical collaboration with Practical Magic of Fairfax. At 6:00 PM, Lea will lead a handcrafted broom-making class ($75, all supplies included). To join the class call 415-383-6000.

Browse the Practical Magic pop-up shop for spell candles, jewelry, and other magical treasures, then enjoy dinner and drinks at the inn.

At 8:00 PM, we’ll gather around the fire, where we’ll come together for a magical ritual led by Caitlin. 🔥

Come make a broom, discover something magical, and gather with us by the fire.

For one night, the witches aren’t being kept out. They’re being invited in.

Dinner seating has SOLD OUT… and only THREE overnight room packages remain.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us for Shipwrecked Shanty on Friday, August 14, now’s the time.

We’d love to welcome you back to the Pelican Inn for an evening of sea shanties, audience sing-alongs, candlelight, and a wonderful three-course nautical dinner in the cozy atmosphere of our old English inn.

If you’ve joined us for Robert Burns Night or our returning May Day & Maypole Celebration, you’ll recognize your host, Micha, back alongside the welcoming Pelican Inn team for another unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, and old-world charm.

The remaining overnight room packages are now the only way to experience this nearly sold-out event. Make a night of it, wake up to a full English breakfast, and enjoy everything Muir Beach, Mount Tam, and the redwoods have to offer.

We’d love to welcome you aboard.

📍 Reserve your overnight package at PelicanInn.com/menu or call (415) 383-6000 ext. 1.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! ALL HANDS ON DECK!

For the first time ever, the historic-themed Pelican Inn is transforming into a true Sea Shanty Inn for one unforgettable evening.

The last time Shipwrecked Shanty visited, the Inn overflowed. Guests packed the conservatory, gathered on the lawn, and sang together all afternoon.

Now we’re bringing the entire experience inside.

Enjoy a specially themed three-course Castaway Dinner, fine ales, and their signature Shantyoke® sing-along, where the whole room becomes part of the crew.

Named after Sir Francis Drake’s Pelican—later renamed the Golden Hind—there couldn’t be a more fitting place to celebrate our maritime heritage.

Just 38 dinner seats remain. Only 3 guest rooms are left. Overnight guests receive $10 off dinner, preferred seating, and a full English breakfast the next morning.

Leave the modern world behind and step into history! Come for the sea shanties. Stay for the adventure.
