Outdoor enthusiasts, we've added two classes to our lineup of Community Science programs! 🦋 🍄 🔎

Participants can now register for our NEW butterfly field survey or returning fungi program! Join our knowledgeable staff and program leaders for an engaging, hands-on experience that brings science to life. Learn how scientists observe wildlife, collect and record field data, and contribute to conservation research. Then put your new skills into action – helping gather meaningful wildlife data that supports ongoing scientific efforts.

This program counts toward volunteer hours for those who need them and is welcoming to anyone who simply wants to participate. wauk.co/program

Join us for a Community Science Program & Wildlife Survey! This experience is for everyone, whether you’re curious about nature, want to learn something new, or need volunteer hours.

Each session starts with an introduction to a featured wildlife topic (bats, dragonflies, pollinators, even invasive species like Asian clams), followed by a guided, hands-on wildlife survey. No experience is needed.
