The Traveling Memorial Wall is Coming to Brandenburg!

Experience a powerful piece of history right here in our community. The Traveling Memorial Wall—a massive, 360-foot replica of the iconic memorial wall in Washington, D.C.—is making its way to Brandenburg. Stretching the length of an entire football field, this is a profound tribute you definitely won't want to miss.

It will be here Wednesday, July 2nd – Sunday, July 5th.
Located at Brandenburg Telephone Company.
Open to the public for viewing throughout its stay.

Our memorial Ceremony is Friday, July 3rd at 10:00 a.m.

🚧 KY 1638 IS OPEN! 🚧

Great news! KY 1638 is now OPEN to traffic.

A huge thank you goes out to the Meade County Road Department for their hard work and dedication. After receiving permission from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet due to this being a state highway, their crews spent the last two days pumping water from the flooded area, lowering the water level enough to safely reopen the roadway.

We appreciate the patience of everyone who was impacted by the closure and the efforts of all those who worked to get this road back open.
