Long before Jack Nicklaus ever walked this stretch of Nebraska Sandhills, the windmill was already there.

Turning in the same wind that would one day define this golf course. Nobody placed it for character. It was just part of the land — and when the White Course was routed, the decision was simple.

Build around it.

It stands on the fourth hole today exactly where it always has. Weathered, unbothered, and completely indifferent to a front left pin or a back right.

The best decisions we made out here wasn't what to build. It was what to leave untouched.

A long weekend on the Sandhills, with a few extra reasons to stay.

After a round out here, you'll go home and look at your home course bunkers a little differently.

Often described as rugged, the bunkering at Jack Nicklaus' White Course doesn't just exist to look pretty in a photo. They're well placed and sometimes quirky (see the last few photos) and naturally blended into the Nebraska sandhills.
