Jumping for joy Among the Pines! Priority Registration opens TOMORROW for Summer 2027 and we couldn't be more excited! Sessions and cabins tend to fill up fast, so grab your coffee, set an alarm, and get ready to secure your spot! We can't wait to start counting down the days with you again. 💚

📅 SAVE THE DATE: Priority Registration opens September 29th! We remember counting down the days until we got to come back to camp, and in two weeks, you get to start that countdown for your camper. We use Cool Cards at Camp each summer to give campers and staff the opportunity to express their gratitude for things others say and do throughout each day.

We also offer them to our guests on Getaway weekends. We thought you might be interested in seeing a few they left us to share with our staff.

At camp, we tell the kids:

Treat everyone whose path you cross every moment of every day, with kindness, respect and generosity.

Not because they’re nice and because they’re a good person. Because you are.

The true magic of camp, and life, is all about the people we’re with. It’s about the people next to us.

The best moments and the best memories in life aren’t about what you do. They’re about who
you’re with.

We’re grateful for those who were with us this past weekend!

Camp was loud again this weekend! Our Family Getaway Weekend brought grandparents, alumni, and future campers back to Camp - some visiting for the first time, others for the twentieth. Whether it was skiing on Upper Lake, playing on the inflatables at Lower Lake, zipping across the Sky Rider, or horseback riding over at the barn, there was something for everyone to enjoy this weekend! We're so grateful to have such an incredible staff group that shows up and cares for these campers and their families, every time. And to every family who joined us this weekend, thank you. We miss you all already, and we can't wait to have you back Among The Pines next summer! 💚🌲

Margie McBride

Jan 8, 1932 - July 31, 2026

The last day of camp each summer was always a milestone in her life. It was the same today.

Bob Gene knew Camp Mac. Margie knew people.

Throughout her life here she talked with thousands of families, and she met tens of thousands of kids.

For over 70 years, she knew where most of them were from, she knew who most of them were kin to, she knew most of them by first and last name.

She knew most of them.

She loved all of them ❤️

She was here last Friday. She rode around camp and saw the kids. They talked to her and she listened. Like she always did.

She didn't say much, but she smiled all day.

It was the end of one journey, and the beginning of the next one ❤️

And what a journey it was!
