The 2026 Summer Staff is here! 🌲

These counselors have been a part of Camp Mac for years, and it shows. They know what this place is about and they're ready to pour into every camper who comes through the gates. They didn't just come back for a summer job. They came back because they love it here.

Happy Earth Day from Among the Pines! 🌲

Spending the summer outside is a big part of what makes Camp Mac what it is. From the lakes to the trails, this place gives campers room to explore, try new things, and just be kids. 😁

We’re officially less than two months away from our first check in day of 2026!🌲

Soon enough, cars will be making their way up the mountain, through the gates, and into another unforgettable summer. We can already picture the excitement, the reunions, and the first moments that make check-in day so special. 😊

Long before he was Major Klinner, he was always Alex — he grew from a camper everyone loved into a counselor everyone wanted to be.

We never had the opportunity to know Maj. Klinner, but we’ve known Alex for years.

Alex is gone, yet in the hearts of those who knew him, he will never die. For in every moment that fills our lives with joy, wonder, and love, the spirit of Alex Klinner lives.

Alex gave generously of himself. Through his dedication, his devotion, his hard work and his caring spirit he helped make Camp Mac a special place. And the time he spent here was a special time.

This weekend we celebrated National Unplug Day. At Camp Mac, unplugging is part of the experience. No phones. No screens. Just friends, fresh air, new skills, and moments you actually get to live in instead of record.

It's amazing what can happen when we put the technology away and focus on the people right in front of us. 💚
