The Munising Motel is located in downtown Munising and within walking distance to many of the local Upper Michigan attractions. Alger County is a wonderful place to visit year round and the Munising Motel is a great place to stay while vacationing in the area. The Munising Motel offers corporate, monthly, and seasonal rates. Our rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The Munising Motel has recently received remodeling inside and out.

Michigan’s Chapel Beach is one of the most beautiful sand beaches in the Upper Peninsula and sits along Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The beach is known for its soft sand and the clear, bright blue water of Lake Superior rolling onto shore. From the beach, you can also see Chapel Rock, a huge rock formation made of sandstone with a single pine tree growing on top. Getting to Chapel Beach takes a hike on the 3-mile Chapel Basin Trail, which is part of the experience. Along the way, you’ll also pass Chapel Falls, one of the nicest waterfalls in the area and a great spot to stop and enjoy before reaching the beach.
