Island Lake Campground reopened May 18th with brand new restrooms! These restrooms are ADA accessible. Island Lake Campground is off of Buckhorn Road. This campground has 6 reservable sites, including a group site, and 5 first-come, first-serve sites. Visit www.recreation.gov to make your reservation today!

Opening Day! This photo was taken at Pete’s Lake Campground, one of the beautiful campgrounds that opened for the season today! Other campgrounds opening today include:

Bay furnace, Monocle Lake, Indian River, Island Lake Campground’s openings are postponed for construction, opening dates to be announced.

Hello to all of our campers! Our season is coming to an end very soon, but we still have a few locations open until October 8th, last night of camping October 7th. Visit to make your reservation, reservations must be made four days prior to check-in date.
