Being a kayak tour guide for the Pictured Rocks is more than just guiding guests through the most pristine waters in Michigan. Our guides schlep the kayaks down and across the beach, getting them ready for the day’s tours. When you arrive, they are ready to go, just waiting for you! When the day is over those guides schlep those same kayaks back up those steps and load em all back onto trailers. We have some pretty gnarly guides and most view this work as much more than a job, it is a lifestyle.

Luxury glamping at its finest! Pictured Rocks Yurts are centrally located in Munising, MI overlooking Munising Bay. Sit on the huge decks with your solo stove roaring watching boats and sea life traversing the bay. All the yurts are fully plumbed with private bathrooms, kitchenets and king or queen size beds. Extra amenities include refrigerator, microwave, charcoal grill, picnic tables, and futons. A complementary continental breakfast is included each morning with your stay. The newly built glamping Yurts are in a perfect central location, a short drive or walk to downtown Munising, MI or a short drive to the Duck Pond eatery & Beer Garden in Christmas, MI.
