Hi, Ned here! Long time, no see peeps! Over the last 24 hours we've received 1 centimeter of rain. Almost half an inch. It's just not enough to lift the burn ban or give us some relief from the drought. Pray for rain please. There was a wildfire just 55 miles south of us in Union county. We need the rain bad.

Norma will not be giving the weekly report anymore. She was adopted by another family and moved down the street.

Ned the Gnome here with your rainfall report. We had some evening boomers come in and drop 1.5 inches of rain. Sitting out in that lightening was tough but I held on. The camp dogs were not impressed and hid under the bed. Cowards! I hear thunder in the distance so maybe we'll get some more rain today. Brian plowed the field recently so there should be some areas to find good gravel in after this rain. Surface hunting will be great too. A lot of the big ones are found on the surface. Grab those mud boots and come on down!
