This popular event will have lots of people in costume, traditional artisan vendors, food, drink, and a community altar in the Park, and businesses will be displaying ofrendas honoring those who we have lost but are still with us in spirit. This Saturday, October 1st is Annual Grape Stomp and Street Fair in historic downtown Murphys. The Main Street will be closed off for vendors selling handmade crafts, food, and entertainment. The park has the always hilarious grape stomping competition... the "oldest and longest in California!"

Great News...it looks like there will be dry weather for the Christmas Open House in downtown Murphys tomorrow night!

Come join the community in our annual celebration: A nighttime Christmas parade, caroling, tree lightening, warming fires, roasted chestnuts, pictures with Santa....and wine and shopping on the Main Street. It's sure to be a lovely evening and great way to kick off the holiday season.
