Our Story

Historic Hull House Inn is an Italianate style Victorian home built in 1887 by William H. Hull. The House boast a stellar reputation of elegance, charm and is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. The newly renovated Inn is conveniently located near beautiful Southern Illinois wine country, just minutes away from Shawnee National Forest, majestic lakes, quaint shops and eateries. The Inn’s historic structure and interior still reflects an overall Victorian inspired nuance pleasantly blended with modern comforts. Overnight guest accommodations feature three unique themed sleeping quarters with private bath, formal dining area with adjacent kitchen, cozy sitting parlour and private courtyard. Luxury linens, silver tea service and in house motto "give us the details we do the rest" hallmark this historic destination for both lodging and event venue.
