What a great time at the Emery House Christmas Concert! Even Santa and Mrs. Clause showed up to sing along with Joe & Beth Guerra! Thanks Joe Guerra, Beth Guerra, Karl Bloss, Kristina Bloss, Eileen McKormick with Be the Music and everyone else that helped to make our day so special!

As another, more relaxed summer comes upon us I thought we should post an update. When the pandemic forced us into retirement last spring, we relaxed for the 1st time in years and enjoyed it so much we decided to take another summer off to enjoy life at our own pace. The B&B will remain closed this summer. We've filled our calendar with trips of our own, enjoying loved ones that we never took enough time for before. We've found use for our extra rooms for temporary foster care, as well as family and friends when the need arises. We're thankful for all the friends we've made in our return guest over the years. With the slow down of the 2020 tourist season we've decided to suspend bed and breakfast services until further notice. Dave and I are enjoying this restful time to reflect on the past and future of the Emery House. Since 1903 Emery House has sheltered families, businesses, elder care, troubled youth (Webster House) and travelers. In our short 5 years here we've enjoyed hosting tourist as they visited our beautiful Muskegon. We're now considering other ways to serve our community with our time and space as we continue to care for this grand Muskegon landmark. Stay healthy and safe as we wait out these changing times and reinvent the Emery House.
